InDesign

For this lesson we've been learning how to use InDesign program to create Double Page Spreads(DPS). We've leant some basis functions and tools. I haven't used InDesign before so I find it abit difficult to use even though that its tools and functions are similar to the Photoshop, however they are not the same so I have to spent some time to use it in order to get more experiences from it. Here is the page that I made from the InDesign.

The clash	£5.99 , 148 pages	It doesn’t really have section for this magazine because it has got only one band	-The Clash combat rock -David Bowie the ultimate music guide	It’s obvious that the articles inside this magazine are all about The Clash band because it is the only band in this magazine.
Rock sound	£3.99 , 100 pages	There are 4 sections in this magazine: -1st section is The Noise 16 pages -2nd section is Exposure 9 pages -3rd section is Features 40 pages -4th section is Reviews 21 pages	The advertises are mainly about new albums -Pianos become the teeth -KoRn – the path of totality -Animal as leaders -Junius – reports from the threshold death.	The articles inside this magazine are all about young teens rock band for example: -The Amity Affliction “YoungBloods” - Four year strong -Lights Siberia

Finished my Preliminary Task

I have finished my preliminary task!!! And from now on we are going to start the main task next week. The main task is about music magazine which is slightly different from student magazine because music magazine have wider range of audiences so I have to target on particular group.

My content page

Here  is my completed contents page, I prefer to put some colours on my background instead of leaving it blank in white because if the background under the text and the pictures is white, then it's going to be too simple so I have to put some colours in it to make my contents page looks better. For the pictures, I have made them became more rounded so they don't look like I just put them down and just leave it. If I leave them as they were, those pictures going to make my contents page look really poor, therefore I had to do something with them.
